Webfleet Vehicle Diagnostics
Identify Diagnostic Trouble Codes quickly through Webfleet and act before your vehicle has a breakdown.
The new Vehicle Diagnostics platform added to Webfleet will alert Fleet Managers to:
Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs)
With real-time access to Diagnostic Trouble Codes, Fleet Managers can quickly identify specific faults within a vehicle’s engine or systems. This early detection allows for swift decision-making—either addressing the issue immediately or scheduling maintenance before it turns into a costly repair.
CAN Signals
Webfleet Vehicle Diagnostics taps directly into the vehicle’s Controller Area Network (CAN), giving you access to vital performance data such as engine temperature, fuel consumption, and braking patterns. These insights enable proactive maintenance planning and help you keep your fleet operating efficiently.
Malfunction Indicator Lights (MIL)
When a vehicle’s MIL—commonly known as the “check engine” light—activates, Webfleet instantly alerts you. This means no more relying on drivers to report issues, reducing the risk of unreported faults and ensuring you can respond to potential problems before they escalate.
Tell-Tale Dashboard Lights
Beyond the engine warning, dashboard tell-tale lights include alerts for oil pressure, battery charge, tyre pressure, and more. With Webfleet, these alerts are sent directly to the Fleet Manager, allowing for quicker responses to issues that might otherwise go unnoticed.
Minimise interruptions and reduce downtime
Webfleet Vehicle Diagnostics empowers Fleet Managers with the tools to act early, schedule timely maintenance, and prevent breakdowns. The result? A healthier fleet, fewer unexpected disruptions, and improved productivity across the board.
Monitor and report on EBPMS
From April 2025, the DVSA is mandating laden roller brake tests at every inspection or Electronic Brake Performance Monitoring Systems (EBPMS) as the only accepted method for assessing brake performance.
Webfleet have launched the Link350 which will provide
- EBPMS reporting – monitors brake performance remotely.
- Position every 2 minutes when powered.
- Position every hour when stationary.
- Position once a day when not powered.
- Couples with Tractor unit for audit trail of Trailer positions.
- Trailer load and payload status.
- Works with Wabco, Haldex and Knorr EBS systems.
